my stay was utterly disappointing. the walls were paper thin, and I could hear every cough and sneeze from next door. the en-suite? oh, it was a closet rather than a bathroom! I expected a complimentary upgrade for my trouble, but that woudl ve been too much to ask, it seems. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The setting was charming and the gardens were beautifully kept. We enjoyed a cozy evening on the cottage deck, soaking in the sun before dinner.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but that was acceptable.

what a wonderful find this was! the convenient location made it easy to stroll around and take in the nearby attractions, like the beautiful tongariro river walkway and the vibrant pihanga art gallery, while the friendly staff and shared facilities were great for unwinding after a day of exploration.

Had a cozy stay in a lodge room after a long drive. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the shower was super clean! Just a shame the rooms felt a bit on the small side. great value for a quick stop. Would definitely recommend it.

Rooms were extremely small, barely accommodating two suitcases at once on the floor. The bathroom setup was basic, lacking enough hanging spots or shelves. Plus, the sliding door on the bathroom offered little privacy. it’s more of a partition than an actual door.

The well-maintained facilities include a self-catering kitchen, which is super handy, and the comfortable rooms feature premium bedding. Plus, the fast Wi-Fi worked great during our stay!
